About Us

Nanna’s Goodies started from a love of crafting that my grandmother instilled in me over 60 years ago. I started out making items for the home and toys for my seven children (now all grown), then graduated to doing craft bazaars. I tried my hand at selling my items in a brick-and-mortar store but the economy put a halt to that, so I had to be content with bazaars again. Then the cost of the bazaar space rental got bigger and the profits got smaller (again, thanks to the economy), so I went back to making things for home and family and a few gifts for friends. That’s when it hit me – everyone seems to be selling on one of those auction sites and making money, so I tried that. I found out that people who go on auction sites are like those who go to garage sales – they want to buy something new for a “used” price. By this time, my son had become a computer whiz and was building websites and putting together computers as well as trouble-shooting programming and such, so I said “Please build me a website!” It took a few years for us to actually get together a plan, but when we did, I got excited and Nanna’s Goodies was born!

My little dog, Baby Girl, "helps" me in the craft room by sleeping under my crafting table to keep an eye on me and what I’m doing. She also sleeps next to me in my chair when I’m crocheting so sometimes she looks a bit more “furry” than usual with yarn clippings stuck to her.

Have fun browsing my site and if you don’t see what you’re looking for, let me know and I’ll see what I can do to help you!
